First bill questions

Hi. I signed up for Koodo (via website) on March 31 and requested a SIM card. I received the SIM card in the mail on April 9th and activated it (and transferred my number) on April 10th.

However, my first bill shows that I started being charged on April 1. 

Is this expected? Shouldn’t my billing cycle start when I first activated the SIM card (April 10th)?

Yes this is expected.  Activation and billing starts when Koodo mails out your order.  There is a check box that mentions this, that you must select prior to proceeding with your order.
