Extra data fees

Why was I charged extra data fees?  Koodo is supposed to limit the amount of data to the package maximum.

Hi there,

did you hit your data limit? Once you use all of your data it will be paused and you will be notified that all of your data has been used. With Koodo’s shock-free data, you should get a message at 50%, 90%, and 100% usage. Did you receive the notifications?

With Postpaid, if you then continue to use data after you reach your limit, you will then be charged based on your plans pay-per-use rate if you did not purchase any additional data top-ups.

I saw another post regarding shock free data.

Can you log into your self‑serve and go to Usage > Data > Warning Preferences.

And check if the 50%, 90%, and 100% options all checked?

Just to double check, have you received any notifications at 100% or that extra data has been purchased/ used?
