Esim + Easy Room Charges

I just bought a week long orange travel esim. Primary was completed turned off and so was cellular data switching and we were charged everyday on our May bill. I tried Koodo assist and can’t get connected. Help! Thanks!

Roaming charge shouldn’t happen if you completely turn the SIM card off. Could you double-check if the SIM was actually on at some point? As well, if you have a moment, can you check the Koodo usage of data/SMS in self-serve to see how Koodo thought you were roaming?

Can you provide a screenshot of your bill showing a detailed list of charges? Make sure to remove any personal details, as this is a public forum.

We have looked into it and we can see the roaming charges were triggered due to outgoing texts and voicemials. we recommend checking the usage section in self serve for more details.

We also recommend checking the Canada-US plan options in self serve in case you plan on traveling regularly, or the Travel passes
