I recently added the Mexico Caribbean 7 day easy roam to my account for $49. However when I landed in Mexico I received a text saying my easy roam charge would be $18 a day that I use data or call or text. Why? Is this just a generic message? It says on my account that the 7 day package is added and will be applied automatically when I land but I’m not sure why this texts says otherwise and want to avoid unexpected charges.

+4From your description that sounds like the generic arrival notice rather than something wrong with your pass. A rep confirmed the same thing on a recent thread where a customer had added an Asia 14 Day pass and still got a "you do not have Easy Roam" text on landing — it's just a general notice that pay-per-use Easy Roam isn't on the line, so once your 7 days are up, any further usage while roaming would be billed at the pay-per-use rate ($18/day for international, $16/day for the US). Just to confirm though, can you check Self Serve under Mobile Services > Add-ons and let me know whether the Mexico & Caribbean 7 Day pass is actually showing there? There has been a glitch lately where the pass gets ordered and the confirmation only mentions "extra data", but it never provisions to the line — that's the case where the $18/day really does start billing. Restarting the phone once you're on the network abroad helps it pick up.
If it isn't listed under your add-ons, tell us here and since you're already in Mexico and Iwill flag a rep to get it added and sort out any daily charge that got triggered.
