easy roam i never left canada

I never left canada but I got a easy roam charge for 16$ can anyone help me and correct this and help me stop it from happening again. I will not pay for something I never used.

Hi there,

If the charge has appeared on your most recent bill, you can dispute it through your Koodo self-serve account. You can follow the steps in the link to dispute the charge, it will be reviewed within 4hrs. If your bill hasn’t been issued yet indicating the charge, you will need to wait until you receive it before you can dispute it as the charge may be screened out when the bill is issued.  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/ask-us-to-review-a-charge-on-your-bill?

Going forward, to help prevent this in future, I suggest you turn off roaming in your device settings and change your carrier selection from automatic to manual and then Koodo. Note if you reset the device, you may have to change these settings again. Hi ​@Gage, we’ve checked the charge you mentioned and as it was accidental roaming we have added a credit to your account, you can check it out in your self-serve. 

To avoid future charges please make sure that the data roaming is off in your phone settings and you are manually connecting to the Koodo network.
