The first payment you make for Koodo internet when you sign up for it is not a deposit that is returned to you. It is your first months payment for the subscription that is paid up front to receive the service.
Your billing cycle for the subscription then begins 7 days after your activation date, but you will be covered for the first month of the cycle as you already paid for it.
