Credit liaise

HI, 
I was informed by CIBC that there is a credit listing associated with my account from Koho, possibly due to a late payment. Could you please review this and confirm whether any such listing still exists?

If there is an active record, I kindly request that it be removed, as missed payments can negatively impact my credit score.

to confirm, are you referring to Koodo or Koho? Koho is not owned by Koodo so you would not be able to get assistance here regarding that service. If Koodo, then we can assist.

In that case, are you an existing Koodo customer or have you since left the company and the negative credit hit showed up from a closed account?

If existing, then regarding late payments, Koodo automatically report late payments via their billing systems to the credit bureau. So that is not something they will be able to dispute, you would have to reach out to the credit bureau instead as Koodo do not control your credit record, they just report the missed payment the one time.

If you were previously a Koodo customer and there is an outstanding balance on the account, then if it hasn’t been too long since leaving a rep on here will be able to take a look as this would negatively affect your credit over time.

I am an existing Koodo customer, and my payments have been on time for the past 3–4 months.

Could you please review my account and let me know if anything can be done from your end regarding my credit record? In the meantime, I will also reach out to the credit bureau.
