Hi all.

I got the “something went wrong” error whenever I try to use my Visa card as my payment method.

Note: I lost my Visa card I was using before and this card is a replacement card

Any ideas?

From the screenshot you provided, I understand it’s a prepaid account.

Have you activated the new card yet with your bank?
Or have you used it for any other purchases yet?

Have you tried deleting your previous credit card for pre-authorized payments and adding your new one?


Hi @Allan M. Yes I have activated my card and used it to make purchases. I decided to just stick with using my other credit card (MasterCard) that works. Thanks for the reply!


I am new to Koodo, I am trying to set up auto pay with a cr card.   It is giving me an error message.  I tried just paying the current bill and same message,  I use this cr card every day so not sure what the issue is.

Just to confirm, are the address and the billing name on your Koodo account the same as on your credit card statement?


My cr card has my middle initial…. everything else the same


That middle initial could be the cause of the issue
