continuous roaming charges

I keep receiving roaming charges on my accounts when i'm litterally in central victoria nor have i ever left the country, for example, i recieved a "$10 charge" on my bill, why am i getting these charges when im nowhere near roaming locations?

Sounds like you don’t have easy roam on so are being charged the pay per use rate for texting while connected to a US tower.

You can follow the steps here to help mitigate this in the future:

You can also keep an eye out for CAN/US roaming plans in your account. They may be cheaper than what you’re paying now. Just a few weeks ago they had one available for as low as $35/m.

I’ll also flag a rep to help out with the charge since you were still in Canada.

Are you sure it is for Roaming?

Is it an Easy Roam charge?  US Easy Roam is $16/day

Or is it pay per use roaming?

 

I suggest logging into your self serve and downloading your detailed PDF ebill to review your charges in full detail

It doesnt tell me if its easy roam or pay per use, just an additonal 10 bucks on my bill for a single "roaming text message" when i havent left victoria, but i know i have anything roaming turned off to avoid these charges but somehow still get em.

With a Canada-US plan, there will be no fees for when the phone picks a US tower while near the border. On top of that, you can use your phone without additional charges in US (some exceptions apply).
