I was also charged before I received the sim card and it took 10 days to received thru Canada Post .

+4Right, Koodo starts charging the plan when the SIM is shipped. I don’t agree with it either, but apparently that is how they do it now. See https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/ordering-online
