Change my billing date please.

I’m now going to have to pay roughly 200$ off a 116$ bill because I was charged on a new date now that I added a phone number to my account main account.

Either way it does not work out this way. I need my Payment ( auto withdrawal date ) to be on the FIRST WEEK of the NEW MONTH.

I have now just MANUALLY paid my bill an expect a SIGNIFICANT SURCHARGE from my Bank.

Please change my billing date in my file to a more reasonable date ; not the ending week of the month ; but AT THE BEGINNING OF THE NEW MONTHS PLEASE choose a number from 1-7 Monday through Sunday.

Thank you

Pre-authorized payments are withdrawn approximately 15 days before the last day of your next month’s billing cycle and unfortunately there’s no way to change the auto-payment date.

If you’d like the bill to be paid on a different date, I’d recommend paying it manually at the time that you’d like it paid.

I opted in for aut payments as it allows for a 10$ reduction ; 20 in total with my two lines.

I’m trying to save money not spend more.

Now I’m going to be charged it would seem an extra 50$ on my next Bill because i logged into my bank account today as soon as i noticed this discrepancy and payed directly through there.

So next bill I’m expected to pay an ADDITIONAL 50$ NFS fee ; even though I just payed what I owed 1 day after you tried to take it out of my account. Why take my money on the 30th of the month instead of the 3rd of every month?

I’d imagine a boatload of people have been screwed over for lack of better words, paying additional charges, when upgrading or changing plans.

I question whether i should now apply for the Internet offered via Koodo because it seems like the next amount of money withdrawn automatically will not fall on any reasonable date without getting charged extra fees.

It almost seems like a tactic ( How can we screw our customers? )

Upset.

If the Auto pay date does not work out for you, you can disable your pre-authorized withdrawals.  You do not need to set up auto pay.  It is options.  If it is costing you $50 NSF fees, then the saving of $20 is not worth it.

Note that if you paid via online banking, it takes 3-5 business days for the bank to process the payment.  It is immediate if you paid immediately with credit card.

What I personally do, is set up auto pay.  When the bill arrives, I pay over the phone via credit card.  This way I get the discount, while also having more time since my credit card bill is due much later.

Note that Koodo internet is a prepaid subscription that is not tied to your monthly koodo mobility bill.  And it is paid by credit card only
