Question

Billing

I paid my bills yesterday, and it now reflects on my account that I have a $0.00 balance, but I received an email stating that my payment was declined. I do not understand. Adding an additional $80.00 because of NSF to the next billing cycle is ridiculous. They automatically charge my card every 20th of the month, six days prior to the due date.

I messaged them on Facebook providing the screenshot. If this continue, I'd rather change my provider.

The $0.00 balance means the payment you made went through. The declined email is about the pre-authorized attempt that backed out before that, and unfortunately the failed attempt itself is what triggers the NSF fee, even though you paid right after. It would show up on your next bill.

Once it appears, use Ask us to review a charge in Self Serve https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/ask-us-to-review-a-charge-on-your-bill and explain you paid in full before the due date. No guarantee, but it's worth a try, and that tool gets it reviewed properly more than the Facebook message would.

As well, I would check your pre-authorized payment is still on the account. A failed attempt usually removes it automatically and the autopay credit goes with it.

Hello, pre-authorized payment is still on my account. It just pissed me off for the $80.00 which is not my fault. This is the 2nd time they did this to me. Now I plan to change my provider because of this.
