Billed for Cancelled Pre-authorized payments after account cancelled

I cancelled my account on March 26, 2026, and received a bill in April stating that I owed $10 plus tax for the cancelled pre-authorized payment option. Why? Interestingly, it says on my bill that the funds will be taken from my bank account (which should be impossible if I don’t have pre-authorized payments anymore)

Hi there,

When were the usual dates of your billing cycle? If you cancelled the service part way through the cycle, the credit is forfeit and then you owe the balance. This is because Koodo do not offer partial credits for Autopay.  https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/auto-pay-discount
