Bill shows a New number I never Added or Requested

My latest bill shows a new number that I never requested or added. There is a new setup fee and other charges against number and the total amount for that number is 165.69. Who added this? Looks like a koodo or someone one working for them has started a fraudulent scheme to take money. I have been trying to talk to a real rep for one day but this digital assist is pretty useless. I should have never moved to koodo. Someone should fix this immediately.

I assume you are a new customer and just activated your service? If that is the case, Koodo gave you a temporary number while waiting for you to transfer number over. As well, there is normally a "connection fee" if you ask a rep to assist. I recommend you check your selfserve and billing area, download the PDF bill and check the page 3, 4 of it for more detail.

That is weird, I recommend you respond to the private message in the forum, sent by a Koodo rep above. Koodo might be able to figure out what happened.

Since you may be a victim of a fraudulent transaction, I would suggest you to report this incident to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, change the password for your accounts, and consider setting up fraud alerts on Equifax and TransUnion.
