Elderly mother in law accidentally paid her Koodo account that is set up for auto pay. What happened in a case like this? We don’t need a refund, just carry it over to next month.

If the manual payment is already posted on the Koodo account, the pre-authorized payment won’t be charged.

However, if the manual payment was via online banking, it may take 3-5 business days to be posted. If the payment goes through the autopay method in the meantime, then the payment made via online banking will become an overpayment and will be carried over to the next bill.
