Prepaid 360 Plan - Tax

Hello; I just signed up for the 30GB $149 360 Day Prepaid plan and the cost was $149 no tax.  But when i logged into my portal, it says the next payment in 360 days will be 149 + tax = $167.24.  Question is, why is there tax for the 2nd year and not when I signed up right now?

I paid the full $149 using vouchers (if that changes anything)

Thanks for the quick response; Yes, I was charged tax when i purchased these vouchers.

So before my 360 day renews in 2026, if I top up my account with $149 worth of vouchers - I assume that will be the final price as I have already paid the tax in the store?

From the sounds of it that sounds like how it should work.

Now don't get me started on what would happen if you have half the funds deposited via vouchers and your credit card was also added for auto top-ups to make up the difference.

I currently have a $5 credit balance on my account and I can see that the next year paid is $149 - $5 and tax is being applied to the $144 amount. Seems like if I had half in vouchers then the remaining would be taxed only and charged to credit card. I have my auto pay disabled and have set a reminder 1 week before renewal to load.
