Koodo Tab Bonus and Cancelling Plan

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get clarification on Tab Bonus and how it is affected when cancelling a plan that completed its 24-month term.

My plan term started on November 25, 2022 and ends on November 25, 2024. On May 07, 2023 I purchased a phone and received a Tab Bonus. 

My current plan has completed the 24-month term, and I have paid off my remaining tab balance. If I decide to cancel my plan and switch to another provider, will I have to pay back the Tab Bonus?

There is no Plan Term, only a Phone Tab term.

A phone tab is tied to your line and plan.  So if you get a Tab that has a Tab bonus, you need to keep your line (you can change your plan to a Tab eligible plan) for 24 months.  If you do not, then you will need to pay back the pro-rated amount of the Tab Bonus.
