no tech support today


poor wifi and no tech support today. Unacceptable customer service. No reason that a phone number can’t be placed in a que with regular updates when a callback will occur. The useless customer service chat bot is a joke

I would recommend you keep everything in one thread so people could assist you better.

still does address my concern. No callback support at all, call back at a later date and maybe you will get put in a que.  If Koodo has that many customer issues maybe they should not be offering services in Ontarion

People still can schedule a call back. What was the message that you received from the chat bot, specifically?

I did not snip the comment this morning. It stated something like “busier than usual, try Koodo assist at a later time”. I was able to get a call back booked now, but last Thursday no callback was received after booking a callback

Koodo model of callback has been there for years, If you are looking for someone to pick up your call, you might have to look into Rogers/Telus or Bell.

Regarding the WiFi issue, from what I saw from your description, you could try to reset the modem and router. If that doesn’t help, it is technical challenge of the signal going through the wall, there isn’t much Koodo could do remotely.

I signed up with Telus and was told Koodo is Telus and it is run like that due to regulations.

I am not expecting a live agent anytime I call, but if I book a call back with Koodo Help I expect a call back,

I did reset the wifi but speeds dropped off again from 500Mbps to 100Mbps.  WiFi signal strength jumps from 4 bars to 1 bar - the walls in my house don’t transform

I was able to get a callback today and a technician will complete a remote diagnostic thru the MAC address to see why working with a Network cable I get 500Mbps consistent but the WiFi speed/signal strength jumps around. Still less than the 1 Gbps I am paying for

What a revelation - its not my walls
