Why doesn't my Samsung A53 phone work without Wi-Fi outside the home?

Hello,

I was trying to use my phone today to get back home by bus. However, it will not do that unless I have wi-fi while I am outside. How do I fix this?

When you mentioned it does not work, how was your call and text?

Additionally, which plan are you on? and was your phone a Canadian version ?
