The error message asked you to call the number. Have you tried to call it?

So im with koodo prepaid, have been for years, they text me, they email me, I get all these postpaid prompts when I sign in. But when I sign in I click one id like to change to and it doesnt work saying "Switching to Postpaid with an eSIM isn't available online yet. Visit a store or call 1-833-881-8878 and we'll get you set up"

Im not using an esim and never have, i have a physical Sim.

But the post paid plans are better, right now I get 10gb data 4G speed with unlimited calling paying $30 a month.

Its the postpaid plan worth it? Is 5G speed much faster?

Eh, if there is a discrepancy in account naming, the rep might not be able to transfer it. If you would like to fix the name in the account, you could schedule a callback from a Koodo prepaid rep at www.koodo.com/prepaidchat

That isnt what my post is about,

I think I jumped ahead of myself there. In the message from Koodo, the eSIM reference is for a postpaid plan - which allows you to use the plan right away. If you insist on a physical SIM, you would have to wait for the SIM card to be delivered by Canada Post. You can’t use a prepaid SIM for a postpaid plan.. And I was a little confused by the reference of the name in the prepaid account.

Regarding your question about 5G and a postpaid plan, postpaid plans have more features, like extra perks for international calling and Wi-Fi calling. 5G speed isn’t really needed if you are currently happy with Koodo.
