I currently have a iPhone 8 Plus which has a nano SIM card and I am buying a IPhone 15 which only has eSIM capability. How do I switch to the new phone?

Did you purchase the U.S. model? The Canadian model of the iPhone 15 should have a SIM card slot.
The easiest way is to purchase an eSIM voucher from your nearest Koodo store or authorized dealer and update it on your Self-Serve account. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support
Alternatively, you can borrow an iPhone from a close friend or family member, switch to an eSIM, and transfer it to your new device. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/esim-on-apple
Only the iPhone 17 and newer (iPhone air) is esim only in Canada. I would follow the new iPhone setup prompts as it will guide you through the process.
