I am trying to use my own router as it has more LAN ports than the Boost6 (one port only).
All the guides online mention that I need to enter the Modem/Router settings and find the “Bridge Mode” setting, I have done that but cannot find this setting drop-down, anywhere!
In Network Status, it shows that my Operating Mode is “Router Mode” so where can I go to change this so it says Bridge Mode ?

Forgot about thread, I actually did exactly this a bit after making this thread and it has solved everything.
I already have a robust router with wifi-6 and initially had the DM1000 (black box/modem) plugged into the Telus Boost 6 Lite AND then plugged into the WAN port of my Router! 🤣
So it was:
Internet → Modem → Router → Router
Anyone having issues with Plex Remote Access, should look into this as well, I was setup with “Double-NAT” without knowing it. I just ASSUMED that the white box (Boost6 Lite) and the black box (DM1000) were REQUIRED to be plugged into each other in the chain. But after all my poking around in the white-box I THEN plugging directly into the black-box, I could clearly determine that one was JUST a router and the black-box was actually JUST the modem.
After almost ~5 years! I finally have Remote Access in Plex working. Testing for Double-NAT did not work using the directions provided on the plex help articles. This was the main reason I went around poking at my setup to see why others had it [remote access] working fine but my “not so complex” setup just wasnt allowing me to connect to my plex from outside my wifi network.
Everything is working great now. Thanks for all the help!

The ISP router itself has a built-in firewall in it. With many hidden parameters, it is hard to know how that firewall work. Some advanced router allow you to choose which program to pass though without any restriction but many doesn’t have that feature.
