I switched from postpaid to the monthly prepaid plan but never received a starting code. Now  my account says 

 

Your account has basic access for now. You'll get full access when your order ships.


what do I do next

That “basic access” message typically means your order is still processing; it should resolve once your SIM ships. You don’t need a starting code for monthly plans; the SIM itself activates your service.

Check your email for shipping confirmation. If you’ve waited several days with no update, you can schedule a callback through Self Serve to verify your order status, or try logging out and back in to refresh your account view. Sometimes the message lags behind backend processing.

What’s your order timeline; how long ago did you switch?

I switched about two weeks ago. Doesn't it use the same sim I already had?

No, prepaid doesn’t use the same card as postpaid.

Prepaid and postpaid are actually 2 separate system, you would have to port your number from postpaid to prepaid service once you received the SIM card.

You will need to get a prepaid SIM card first and then port over your number after registering your Self-Serve account. https://prepaidselfserve.koodomobile.com

Do you still have access to the prepaid account? Is your prepaid sim still active?

I think it's prepaid to postpaid

In that case, you should be able to use the Fast Switch Self Serve Option and continue to use your SIM card. Your prepaid balance will go towards your postpaid bills and the phone number will come with you.

I can log into my postpaid account, but it says I have limited access. If I try to log into my prepaid, it says I have the wrong password or email and I can't seem to fix that but my sim does seem to be working.

Did you receive an activaiton email for your postpaid self-serve account and check your junk box? It usually indicates trying to register the self-serve before the email activation is received.
