My Samsung Galaxy suddenly displayed a notification stating that SIM is UNREGISTERED?  Coincidentally, at the same time I noticed this my text message to 2 contacts wouldn't and still haven't sent

Which phone model was it? And was it purchased from Koodo?

From your description, there is a chance that the phone was blacklisted. I would recommend you put the SIM into another phone to see if the SIM works normally. If the SIM works, the issue is from the device.

Hi @Bonnie L

We have looked into it from our end and the services are active.

Have you tried re-inserting the sim card or trying it on a different device?

If you tried to put your sim in a confirmed working phone and it still doesn't work, then it sounds like the sim might have failed. In this case you will need a new sim and swap it over.

Did you also check your friend/family's sim in your phone to see if the issue followed the sim or your device?
