Samsung sim manager shows old temporary number after port in

Hi  everyone,

I just finished port in my rogers number to koodo yesterday, everything seems to be working fine so far.

However my samsung sim manager still shows the old temp phone number on my eSim, is there a way I can correct this?

I have tried to restart/toggle sim/airplane mode, but nothing works so far. Appreciate any help

@Flo Koodo actually no need for tech support, it’s now fixed itself after airplane mode toggle. Cheers 😀

Just to confirm, have you received a SMS from Koodo saying your number transfer is completed? can you reset network settings of the phone to see if that can help?

As well, from your description, is SMS and calling working normally?

Yep, I tried everything. And all call and text is working. Just sim manager won't update to new number

If so, the issue might be with the eSIM itself. Can you try to turn off the eSIM, wait for a few minutes and turn it on again to see if that can help? If that doesn’t work, you might need a rep to look into that.

Yeah, I tried that too, and it's been over 24 hours since I port my number, I'm hoping tech support can just give me a new esim QR code to scan

Hi @pixielark

If the old number still shows up, we can try a refresh from our end and see if this helps. Please let us know if you can turn off your phone for 15 minutes.

I ported over yesterday and experiencing the same with a physical sim. Not sure if it has any consequence though? everything else seems to be working.

Thank you for checking!

Unfortunately, in this case, a rep from the technical support team would need to look into it further

You can schedule a call back with the virtual assist and ask to speak with a rep from the technical support team for further investigation.
