I have a Samsung Preowned S21 FE 5G on the Koodo network. The phone has started to automatically turn off the  Wi-Fi connection and now it has stopped connecting to Wi-Fi networks altogether. When I manually switch the Wi-Fi network on the phone does not recognize any of the Wi-Fi networks in my house. I know that the networks are there be cause they are all working on  my IPad . I’ve triremes resetting the phone’s default settings and restarting the phone but this does not work.
Do I need to replace the phone?

Since you’ve reset network settings and restarted your Samsung S21 FE but it still won’t detect or connect to Wi-Fi networks your iPad sees, the issue is likely with the phone’s Wi-Fi hardware or software. Try toggling airplane mode on/off or test other Wi-Fi networks to confirm. If Wi-Fi remains unresponsive after these steps, the phone may need repair or replacement. You could also try a factory reset if not done yet, but otherwise, yes, replacing the phone might be necessary.

Also, please try heading to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Tap the 3 dots in the top right, then Advanced > Wi-Fi Control History, and then check to see if any apps have turned your Wi-Fi off. If you find anything that corresponds with your issue, and it is a third-party app, then you may wish to uninstall it to prevent future occurrences.

How long ago did you purchase the phone?

You can try resetting network settings as well.

I’ve had the phone since August 17, 2024 (16 months)

I’ve had the phone since August 17, 2024 (16 months)

Unfortunately that is past the 1 year warranty period.

When you say it automatically turns off the wifi, do you mean in your connection settings your wifi radio is turned off?

Is your wifi toggle greyed out or it is on, but it doesnt detect anything?

EDIT

After some googling, try the following fix as a shot in the dark:

Go to Settings > Apps > Android System Intelligence

Now remove all the permissions and disable the app.  If it doesnt work, try turning Airplane mode on and off.  If it still doesnt work try restarting your phone
