We can try to refresh the settings from our end if you would like and see if this can fix the issue.

In case it doesn’t you would need to schedule a call back and speak with a rep from the technical support team.

If you agree, please turn your phone off for 10 minutes and let us know here before turning it off.

Thank you!

Hey,

This usually clears up on its own within a few hours after the port completes. Your actual number is active even if the temp one still shows in e-SIM manager; that’s just a display lag.

Give it a bit longer. If it’s been more than 24 hours since you got the welcome SMS from Koodo, restart your phone or toggle airplane mode on/off. That sometimes forces the system to refresh.

Still stuck after that? Let me know and we can dig deeper.

That’s due to a lag time in processing porting. I’d give it a full day to see if it changes. You can always periodically try restarting your phone or toggling airplane mode. Let us know if it persists

Have you received any SMS from Koodo saysing the number transfer is completed? As of now, has the old number replaced the temporary number in your self-serve?

It could be a full day as I said. How long has it been since you ported?

Is it a Samsung? Can you turn on and off the eSIM to see if it can update.

As well, can you make call and receive call with the transfered number?

That seems normal for a few hours. I’d check again in the morning and then see if it changes or not and if you can receive calls and texts.

Hi @shlee7234

We have looked into it and we can see that everything looks in order on our end with the transfer!

Just to double check, have you already tried to reset the network settings on your phone?

Do you still have the old eSIM profile on your phone? Have you tried removing it and labelling the Koodo eSIM as your primary SIM? You can also restart your phone after the changes are made.

  1.  eSIM manager phone number : temporary number(I don’t know this number) It should be show up my original phone number.
  2. Not tried removing because I don’t have QR code.
  3. Koodo e SIM is primary SIM.
  4. After change, always restarted the phone.

Since you do not want to remove your old eSIM profile, you can try to clear the cache partition on your phone. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device

If that does not work, you can try toggling off and on RCS messaging to see whether the correct number will show up in your settings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FbHbFKO96w

In the unfortunate event that everything else fails, you may need to consider doing a factory reset on your phone.
