This has been happening intermittently throughout the day, every day, for a couple months now.

I’ve removed and reinserted the sim card, reset network settings, restart my phone multiple times a day but still having issues with not being able to make / receive calls and text messages.

I cannot find a way to actually speak to someone at Koodo to help resolve the issue.

My phone is a Samsung s20 FE

Hmmm, that's odd. It almost sounds as if the SIM card has gone wonky. Since you exhausted almost all other possible causes, it might be worth your while to get a new SIM card. Of course if the culprit is the contacts of the phone itself that wouldn't help much…

When you get that message and if you manually search for a network, does it show Koodo or Telus? What area are you in?


I just got a new phone. I’ve been with Koodo for a while. My new phone gives me this message and when I try to connect to Koodo it says Network unavailable. Try again later.


Today LTE is gone, midtown Toronto .  Many people have 3g or 4g displayed but data speeds are around 2g speeds.
