For some web services that use two-factor authentication, I do not receive text messages so cannot be authenticated. I enter my username and password, then I enter my telephone number for the site to send me a text message with the code; I never receive the message.
This is very inconvenient as many sites now use two-factor authentication and some do not have the ability to send the code to an email address.
Which phone do you have?
Have you tried restarting your phone?
Have you tried toggling Airplane mode on and off a few times?
When toggling Airplane mode on and off, allow Airplane mode to remain toggled on for a minute or two before switching it off.
There’s also mention that the phone number provided to the web service may have been entered incorrectly. Or that the phone number to the web service may have been inadvertently blocked. If you’re still not having any luck, let us know.
