Mobile data randomly not working

Hi all, so my mobile data on my Pixel 8a has randomly stopped working as of yesterday and I have no idea why. There's an icon with an exclamation point over the signal indicating no data, and when I check the settings it literally says no network available. I've tried all the usual stuff to reset it: restarted my phone, restarted my network settings, removed and replaced my SIM, but nothing changed. Oddly, I seem to still be able to receive and send some text messages, but I can't use the Internet off of WiFi and there's a notification that says 'emergency calls only'. I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @Nessa Rose

We have looked into it and the services are active and mobile data is enabled from our end.

Are you able to test the sim card on a different phone by any chance?

From your description, it could be an issue with signal coverage as well. If you could, try to go to an area that you know has good signal coverage to see if the issue follows.

Hi Flo, thanks for looking into that. Yes I tried my SIM card on a different phone and I had the same issue. I'm guessing it's my SIM card then? How would I go about getting a new one?

There is a simple process to do it. You can request a replacement SIM card via the "Manage your SIM or eSIM" page on your Self-Serve account and you can transfer it onto the new SIM card on the same page once you receive it. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/koodo-sim-support
