Hi
I migrated from Telus to Koodo. They did not send me any sim. Now although I migrated, the carrier in my setting is still Telus and the same goes with the Cellular data network (Telus APN). My problem is that my data is not working.

Hi there,

So they were supposed to send you a new koodo sim card. Though they are owned by Telus, you specifically need the koodo sim to use the koodo network properly.

I suggest you head to a koodo kiosk or Telus store and get them to replace the sim. That, or you can pick one up and change it in your self serve by following the steps in the link 🙂

Before following Oliver’s suggestion, can you try changing the APN settings as in here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone?

I cannot change the TELUS APN: isp.telus.com to sp.koodo.com.
It changes back to its default (isp.telus.com)

Got it!

In this case, please visit a Koodo store nearby to get a Koodo sim card. Once you get the sim card, you can perform the sim swap in self serve using the steps in the link shared by Oliver above.

My question is how did you migrate from Telus to Koodo?  Did you do this in store or over the phone?

Did you get any confirmation emails from someone?

I did it over the phone and I did get the confirmation.
