Koodo service not working with Yeastar TG100 VoIP GSM/3G Gateway

Hi, I am trying to get my new VoIP GSM/3G Gateway to work with my Koodo sim card without success.

I have tried with other sim cards from Fizz and Rogers and they work perfect, but not with Koodo.

My device, TG100 works on the frequencies

GSM Frequency 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
WCDMA Frequency 850/1900 MHz, 850/2100 MHz, 900/2100 MHz

https://www.yeastar.com/voip-gsm-gateway/#specifications-acr

Is it a compatibility problem with Koodo frequencies?! I am not sure.
thanks

Assuming you have 3G coverage in your area, Koodo does indeed use 850 and 1900Mhz for their 3G network so it in theory should work.

there is a way I can see the 3D coverage in my area?

No, they don’t have a specific 3G map. Here is their network coverage https://choosehappy.koodomobile.com/network/ 3G is being phased out though. Not sure how long Koodo will keep it running.

As well, having a phone that only can work on certain bands isn’t a good choice in my opinion. You can easily find cheap phone (around $200) that support LTE.
