I have no cell service

My wife and I have not had service since midnight last night or so. We cannot resolve this issue as there is no way to contact you folks other than by phone. You see there is a slight problem with needing to talk with you over the phone in order to restore our phone service as it requires our phone service to be active. So it’s a chicken egg situation because you have no email available so I’m stuck screaming into the void on twitter and here in order to have access to the service I paid for.

Have you tried restarting the phone/ resetting the network settings? 

Does the issue persist both indoor and outdoor?

I have tried the troubleshooting steps and it does not resolve the issue. Furthermore this is not just my phone, as my wife and I have numbers on the same account and both lack service. There is clearly an issue with the service being disabled on koodo’s end. Please check as to whether this is the case.

If all phone lines on the same account went disconnected, there is chance of disconnection issue. Could you doublecheck to see if all bill are paid and all plan are active?

Yes the account has been paid and the plans all show as active. Furthermore I never received any notice for disconnection of service.

That is strange. I assume that happened at your home? Have you tested the phone outside or at a common public spot to see if you can receive any signal?

I’m asking this to determine whether the issue is with the nearby tower or your phone’s compatibility with Koodo VoLTE.

If that is the case, there might be an issue with the partitions in your building (that prevented cell signal transmission) or a weak cell signal tower in your area. Either way, it is hard to fix right away.

Which phone model are you using? Have you tried enabling WiFi calling at home?

Just yesterday we both were able to use the cell network just fine in the apartment. I have a samsung s20. As far as I know there is no wifi calling available or at least there i no setting for it

I have it on my phone number but I do not for my wife's number and lack the option to add VoLTE
