On the other hand the black box still trying to fix the lights up but all the 4 lights still flashing green and I am thinking that they didn't activate my line yet it's been 3 days now since I get everything and I am waiting for the email they keep saying that I'll receive but still no update and I need to cancel my current provider but this whole process is getting to long ....

What date did you activate?

What date does your activation email say it will be activated?

Those 4 flashing green lights usually mean your line is not activated yet.

  • Make sure the coax cable is tight at the wall and modem, and the power adapter is the original one.
  • Try one full reboot: unplug the black box for 2 minutes, plug back in, wait 15–20 minutes.

If you still have no activation email after 24 hours and lights never go solid, this needs a Koodo rep to check your pending activation in the backend.

Well it's been like this since yesterday when I set it up and and the date of the activation sould be yesterday 8th of January but still nothing yet and now I am wondering how long this will take because I need to cancel the other provider I have .  No email yet no update yet

From my end everything looks solid as the coxal cable been hook up to the box and the other box been set with black box as well but so far no update yet

The activation date should be confirmed in an email from Koodo. Have you checked your junk mail folder to see if you received anything?

Thank you

I have the same problem. And I was told by 1 rep (I spoke with 5 different ones) that in order to activate the service I need to cancel my service with the current provider (which I don’t want to do unless new service works 100%). Can someone confirm if I really need to cancel? Both are using the same coaxial cable.

Well sir if you connect youre coaxial cable to the box technically you have to wait for the date of activation that you have giving to them and after that you will be able to receive the internet

I am speaking of my experience
