Getting tokenization error. ERROR CODE - 4001?

I keep getting this error after I fill in my credit card information, wonder why? I've tried both my credit cards and ive tried different browsers too.. Need assistance.

“Our systems aren't able to process your transaction at this time. Please try again later.

Getting tokenization error. ERROR CODE - 4001”

Is the issue spreading from this 4001 error for phone upgrades? ​@Boa_Guy Koodo

even with incognito I get the same error. I have even tried clearing my cache and switched browsers too.

when trying to enter credit card info  

I am a new user too. I selected get started, I am trying to get a BYOD plan.

I used to have a Koodo phone and account up until two years ago (if that matters)

I am trying to upgrade my phone and I also get the  ERROR CODE - 4001. I have tried different browsers, cleared cookies. I retried many times in the past 4 days.

I was going to switch to Koodo today. Got the 4001 error. Tried later as suggested. Same error. It seems like Koodo’s site is broken, has been for a few days, but they aren’t fixing it??????

I'm getting the same 4001 error code as others. I've been trying to upgrade my phone and plan for the past 5 days. I've been a loyal customer for 5 years and I don't want to switch companies or deal with a lengthy phone call. Seems like many people are having the same issue. I hope this is fixed asap because I need a new phone!

Same problem here, tried to set my Dad up with his own koodo account and getting “tokenization error. ERROR CODE - 4001” after the credit check. Tried multiple credit cards and also an incognito window and no luck. Little concerned that I’m going to miss the deadline for the $100 referral bonus if this doesn’t get sorted.

I’ve been getting this error message as well. Is there an estimate of when this will be fixed? I’m on a bit of a tight deadline to switch plans/phone companies and was hoping to join with Koodo, but if it isn’t fixed soon I’m going to have to go with a different company unfortunately

It looks like they have a bug in their website and that can take time until it gets fixed and released to production. 
If you want a quick turnaround just schedule a call back through Koodo assist. I got my problem solved that way.

Until the issue is solved for online transactions, you are able to schedule a callback for assistance on completing an order.

I have been trying to update my phone since last week. I have tried many browsers and credit cards with no luck. Super frustrating and I am wondering if I should switch providers…

 

Every time I checkout I get this message:

@phone-user You’ll have to schedule a callback in the meanwhile for assistance on making a purchase.


how do you schedule a callback? I would like to upgrade my phone and am ready to order a new one, but keep getting that error message as well.

Not true ​@Pathand 

They recognized this issue 5 days ago.  See my original link above.  This is the first case when this error was reported

Question is it's a waived 70$ fee if upgraded online, is that waived when done over the phone or do you have to now pay that.

I was getting error 4001, now I have to buy the phone outright to upgrade

Did a call back, they were helpful but they couldn't get me the phone I wanted as it was an online offer only

@Vicki86 , I asked that question and the rep who helped

me offered me a discount to offset that amount. Meaning I payed that fee.
