How can I put a data curfew on my son's phone?

Best answer by Oliver C

Hi there,

So ultimately, you can’t. For example with an iPhone, you can limit usage of certain apps and content, but if the mobile data setting is turned on they can use it. Their settings just limit screen time usage. The same goes for android phones where they have their “digital wellbeing” settings which will prevent someone from using an app if they have been on it too long (again a focus on screen time). But same as iPhone, data can be just turned on to be used. At this time Koodo do not offer the ability to turn off a lines data usage unless by adding a data block, then they can’t use data at all.

Assuming the child is old enough to not be on a managed child's account

Then you will need to move to a first tier provider for those kind of tools.
