as the title suggests. I cant seem to use the network for the new koodo sim card.
i accepted “yes” to leave the old network. and my number successfully appears on my koodo self serve. but when i go to make a call I cant call or use any data on my phone now.
in my esim settings on iphone i still see the original Koodo number they gave me for the new sim card…??
my phone number that i want to use has no network.
I also did not get a koodo welcome message to my new number that I ported over? waht is goin on here?
How long has it been? It’s a process that takes a bit of time. You should be able to receive calls to start.
1 day. on iphone under eSim settings. i see personal (koodo) and primary (telus) if i switched calling and data to personal (koodo) i can access the network. but i still see 123-456-7890 which was probably the phone number they gave me on the new SIM they sent me.
I since switched to my own number, but i stilll dont see if updated. do i need to set that locally?
Yes you have a temporary number until the porting process is complete, where you would then see your actual number.
You can try retarting your phone and then cycling the esim off/on. It should prompt it then

Can you disable iMessage then reenable it again to see if that can help?
it must of verified the number but didnt added it to the list of addresses for imessages
