Hello Guys,
I use this android phone ( android version 8 ), can’t send a picture text msg although data is open. The text app that came with the phone is from google play. can’t see APN settings on this phone...your help is appreciated

What phone is it? Here is some information about the APN settings: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone
But if you can’t see your APN settings that is kinda useless :)

Which phone model are you using? The phone should have APN parameters in the phone settings. It was just a part of Android.
You should be able to find the APN settings by going to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks - tap Access Point Names. If you’re not able to edit the APN, there may be an option to add an APN.
Koodo’s older APN settings used an MMSC proxy of 74.49.0.12 and an MMS port of 80. Koodo’s new APN settings use an MMSC proxy of mmscproxy.mobility.ca and the MMS port is 8799. This might be why you cannot send MMS messages.

This is BY FAR the best answer. No wiggles or extra search. Changed the MMS PROXY and worked right away. How come such an important change was not disclosed to all?? No service for those who bring their own phone?? Been struggling with this issue for a month before I got here. The AI assistant is of no help...
