My Koodo sim refused to call out and receive calls and later resumed working. But not long after I needed to deactivate the sims  (together with my spouse) to get a new sim. I again experience dthe same problem when the Koodo sim stopped again on the new sims and later worked. 

Right now, the my sim and that of my wife stopped working again and since the network isn’t back, i have tried all the suggestions given on facebook to reset the nework but to no avail. I don’t know if Redmi Note 13 is no longer part of phone can koodo can work with. Pls what can I do?

Just to confirm, do you have a postpaid or a prepaid account?


The redmi note 13 wasn’t on Koodo VoLTE list so it had to use 3G network for calling. If you are in a 3G network coverage, you should be fine. However, carriers are shutting down 3G towers, you would find more disconnection more and more.

As ​@Dinh mentioned, Redmi Note 13 is not listed on the VoLTE supported list.

If the device is not compatible with the Koodo network, it may still work, however it’s not guaranteed . You can check the the compatibility here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/phone-compatibility
