I am travelling to Europe soon and purchased an eSIM card with data, talk and text. I could remove the existing Koodo SIM card, but would like to continue to receive texts and WhatsApps. I see advice to turn off data roaming, but my eSIM specifically requires enabling data roaming. Any advice?

+4You should be able to control the settings per SIM card, turning off data roaming for one sim, and not the other.
You could also set your phone so that it uses data from one SIM card and not the other.
Thanks. Turning off the one SIM and enabling the other makes sense. Wasn't sure if it was that simple.
