call and data works, but can not send and receive text message, anyone had same issue?

just switch to Koodo.  call and data all works fine.  But can not send and receive text message.

Check your APN settings first; sometimes the default Koodo APN gets messed up after switching, which blocks texts even if calls and data work. Try resetting network settings and making sure only one Koodo APN is active (delete duplicates) because having old or multiple APNs can cause SMS/MMS to fail.

Also, did you port your number from another carrier? If the number transfer isn’t fully done or is stuck, it can stop texts from working even if calls and data are fine. Check your account’s port status in selfserve.

If you’re on iPhone, toggle off iMessage then back on and ensure “Send as SMS” is enabled.

What phone model and OS version are you using? That can help narrow it down.

in APN I only see one Koodo.  no duplicated.  I can see the transfer successfully in self service portal.  I tried on few phone,  same issue.  reset the APN and search provider, still not work.

Was the number ported in?  Did you reply yes to the port request on the old carrier?

yes, I did.  and old SIM no signal now. and phone call all good.

Did you restart your phone after the port transfer?

What phone are you using?  Are you sending texts via SMS or RCS/iMessage?
