Hello

I have fiber cable in my apartment, can I connect Koodo router to fiber cable using adapter to coax Koodo router?

You can check Koodo.com/Internet to confirm availability/eligibility at your address and choose the best plan for your needs.

If you’re eligible, Koodo can send a technician to your place.

If not eligible, a different option is to check if your building offers a compatible internet service that works with fiber, like TELUS PureFibre or another provider that supports fiber-to-the-home. If you want to stick with Koodo, you’d need a coax line installed, which isn’t something you can DIY.

If you’re open to switching providers, look into TELUS PureFibre or other local fiber services that match your building’s setup. Koodo’s help center has a list of compatible services for different connection types.

Hey! If your apartment has only a fiber cable, you can’t connect a Koodo router directly to it or use an adapter—Koodo Internet needs a working coax (cable) line for their service to work.

Do you see any coax cable outlets in your place (see picture)? If not, let me know, and I can help figure out your options.

How to find the Coax Line for Koodo Internet in your home

Hi there,

if there is no coax connection to your residents but Koodo internet is showing as eligible, then you need to schedule a call back using the link below to speak with Koodo’s internet team for them to send a technician.

Once they show up, they will hook the Coax connection to the house if they can and then you will be good to go. Just note that they only setup the connection, they will not setup the koodo internet equipment for you.
