Hi! I have been Koodo for since the start of the year but I get a single bar and sometimes no reception in a basement unit where I got full signal with Fido. I have an S21 model number: SM-G991U1

I am also unable to get Wifi calling to work as whenever I enable it on my phone, there is a prompt to input my phone number to get a one-time access code. When I input my number it says “The number entered doesn’t match our records. Please re-enter your number.”

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have good reception when you try enabling WiFi calling? You've gotta have it initially. If not, do you have VoLTE as an add-on in your self-serve?


Yes, I have tried enabling WiFi calling when I have good reception outside, however same issue with the one-time access code. When I input my number it says “The number entered doesn’t match our records. Please re-enter your number.”

 

I have volte enabled as an add-on my line through self serve


I think your model was incompatible with Koodo wifi calling. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/wifi-calling
The model should be a Canadian one not US model.


Well, it might not be supported officially however is it possible it still can be enabled? I think it may be just enabling the number in the "records" may enable it for me.

It should be enabled if the VoLTE add-on is already showing on your Self-Serve account.
