I just swapped my plan to a 5G plan on a pixel 7.
My speeds using 5G are measuring slower than if I force my phone to use 4G.
Any advice?

Well, it depends on if you are close to a 5G tower or not. If you were far away from a 5G tower but there was a LTE tower nearby, that LTE tower might provide better connection and speed.

I’m downtown Calgary, according to the coverage map I should be right in the middle of the 5G coverage area.
