wifi calling not working

To confirm, is it only at your work that wifi calling does not work or does it work for you in other locations?

Have you tried any troubleshooting already while at work, like resetting your network settings or restarting the device?

Hello, thanks for reaching out. Yes I’ve reset airplane mode, network settings, toggled on and off everything that’s mentioned. And powered off my phone 100’s of times. Been ongoing for months. It worked for years then all of a sudden it didn’t. I thought it was my old iPhone 8 but still doing it with my new 16e. I noticed some people had comments similar to mine and someone replied that VoLTE was now added to there add on’s under self serve. But I do not see it in mine.

Hmm ok. In that case I will flag a rep to check out your account as you have already tried some troubleshooting and VoLTE does not appear in your plan add ons.

Please make sure you're logged into the community using your self serve credentials and they should be able to take a look. The response times can vary, but a rep will respond here as I have. 🙂

Just to double check, you are not seeing the option to activate it on your phone or you are getting an error when you try to activate it?

If you go to Settings > Cellular on your phone, do you see the option to toggle Wi-Fi Calling on?

Yes it is on. And it gave me option to enable.

So it is on, but it is still not working?

What other things in to be on under cellular, etc. on the phone? And does it matter about 5G auto, 5G, or LTE?

And should I turn wifi assist off?

I recommend you leave the settings at 5G Auto.

Koodo WiFi calling only turn on when the cellular signal is weak and the WiFi network is compatible. How many bar of signal you have on your phone? I assume you are a postpaid customer? 

Hello, I pay a monthly bill and I have zero cellular at the moment due to being in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. I have all wifi bars.

i notice under general , and under about, it says network not available under physical sim. Would that be an issue?

Oh, Koodo WiFi calling doesn’t work overseas though. It only works within Canada. 

Also, from time to time, it might need access to cellular signal to ensure network security.
