Transfer Phone Number Error

I recently opened a plan with Koodo and everywhere it shows you can transfer exisitng number to Koodo. When you ask the chatbot, it provides you with 2 different links to “transfer phone number”. When you click on either, it says the service is unavaliable. Is this true? Is there any plans to address this? If not, truly pathetic that it is promoted all over your websites and and even via your chatbot. Already beyond frustrated and disapointed with koodo and i havent even gotten my sim card.Shame.

Are you a new prepaid or postpaid customer? For postpaid, you would need to access to your selfserve first. As of now, do you have a temporary number and service agreement from Koodo?

I believe i am post paid. i have a both an account number and a mobile number, along with my billing and service agreement. My concern is the website appears to be either down or removed. Is this temporary?

Not really, as far as I know. Are you currently residing in Canada and not using any VPN? As well, did you have access to your selfserve? If so, you could try to follow this https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-your-number-koodo?

I am residing in canada and not using a VPN. I am able to access the selfserve but when i click on the link that is provided, i get a “this service is unavalible right now” with a picture of a cupcake. Even when using your chatbot, it redirects me to the same spot and i get the same message.

Is there a number i can call to speak with an agent and at least confirm that the number transfer will occur?

Thanks

If that is the case, you can schedule a callback from a Koodo rep by using Koodo Assist www.koodo.com/chat

typing #porthelp will typically help you to have a callback faster.
