Transfer of number

My koodo self serve says that my number transferred but my phone is still under the temporary one assigned.  I can only send and receive messages and calls from the temporary number.  I tried changing the number in settings but it would let me save it.

Hi there,

how long has it been since you have transferred the number? As it can take up to 90 mins to fully be completed.

Besides that, have you attempted any other troubleshooting such as turning the device off and on, resetting your network settings, or turning airplane mode on and off again? If not I would suggest trying these.

Its been over a week.  Its just a phone for the kids that stays at home, so I was slow realizing this didn’t happen.  I transferred 3 numbers at the same time and the other 2 worked.  I have restarted the phone and played with the airplane mode.  Network settings show that we are with Koodo….

We have looked into it and we can confirm the transfer was successful for all 3 phone numbers.

Have you tried taking the sim card out and back in to see if the phone gets updated in the phone settings?
