Switching to ESIM on iPhone, from Current Physical SIM on Android

Hi,

I want to buy a new iphone from the Apple store, that is esim only, and I am coming from an Android that has a physical Koodo sim.  If I buy an ESIM voucher, how do I get around the provisioning the device warranty issue that is mentioned in the FAQ?

Iphone 14's in Canada are still Suppose to have the sim card tray
