Dear Koodo Customer Service,

I have recently ordered a Koodo SIM card online, and my order number is HFO3***. I saw that the package status is shipped, but I did not receive a Canada Post tracking number. How can I know when my SIM card will arrive?

Another question I have is how to transfer my current Fido number to Koodo. I watched the video on your website, and one of the steps is to register a Self Serve account. But when I tried to register, it asked me for a Koodo phone number, which I do not have yet. How can I register for Self Serve and transfer my number? I received an email with my Koodo account number and a phone number starting with 905. Is that the number I should use to register?

For sim card-only activations, there is no tracking number, as the sim is shipped via regular mail.

It may take 7 - 10 business day to get the sim delivered to you, more about shipping and delivery can be found here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/shipping-and-delivery

 

You got that right! The activation email contains the Koodo account number and the phone number assigned by Koodo to you.

You can use one of them to complete the registration to your self serve account.

In order to initiate the port, you’d need to wait for the sim to be delivered to you and once you have the Koodo sim, you can follow the steps here to initiate the port request https://koo.do/PortIn

so one I register for the self serve by the current account (905)-xxx-xxxx, after I transfer my current phone number to koodo, the (905)-xxx-xxxx can be change to my current phone number automatically, is that correct?


That’s correct, once you transfer your phone number over using the steps in the second link shared above, the number (905)-xxx-xxxx assigned by Koodo will be replaced by the number you bring over.
