Problems porting my old number over.

I have my new SIM card for Koodo, have the old sim from another company in my phone, but when trying to port the number over I get the message that it’s an incorrect account (old provider). My account is expired as of only 2 days ago…does this mean I have to activate the old account for entire month to move the old number to the new service with Koodo?

Yes. The account needs to be active in order to port the number so you would have to top it up. Same goes if you were to port it to any carrier.
